CM Yogi Adityanath Launches UP Mango Festival 2026; Honors Progressive Farmers to Boost Horticulture Market

Lucknow : In a major push to empower horticulture farmers and expand the market footprint of local produce, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday inaugurated the highly anticipated 'Uttar Pradesh Mango Festival-2026' in the state capital. Grounded in the vision of "Market for Horticulture, Honor for Farmers," the festival highlights the state’s commitment to transforming traditional fruit farming into a highly profitable enterprise.

During the inaugural ceremony, Chief Minister Adityanath unveiled a special souvenir dedicated to the mango festival, detailing the state’s diverse mango varieties, modern cultivation techniques, and export potential. In a bid to encourage sustainable and innovative agricultural practices, the Chief Minister also honored several progressive orchardists and farmers from across Uttar Pradesh for their exceptional contributions to quality yield production.

Addressing the gathering, CM Adityanath emphasized that providing farmers with direct market access and the right technological tools is crucial to doubling rural income. He noted that festivals like these serve as a vital bridge between local growers, agricultural scientists, and global buyers.

"Our goal is not just to produce, but to brand and market Uttar Pradesh's agricultural wealth to the world," the Chief Minister stated, reiterating that honoring the hard work of farmers remains the core priority of his administration.

The multi-day festival showcases an exquisite array of traditional and rare mango varieties from different regions of Uttar Pradesh, drawing traders, exporters, and mango enthusiasts from across the country.
