Lucknow: In alignment with Uttar Pradesh Government and Director General of Police guidelines, a dynamic self-defense workshop for women was held at UP Police Telecom Headquarters in Lucknow. Led by seasoned expert Parveen Akhtar, with 25 years of experience, the session equipped women personnel with essential safety skills, enhancing their confidence and preparedness.
Participants received practical training in techniques such as head locks, rear bear hugs, and choke holds, and were advised on the use of safety items like liquid spray and nail cutters. Dr. Sanjay Tarde, Director General of Police, also provided vital safety tips. The workshop was highly praised for its organization, with attendees noting that the skills learned will significantly improve their personal security.
