Lucknow: Hussainganj police station has got the first position among all police stations in Uttar Pradesh in terms of redressal of complaints lodged on the portal of Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS) for public hearing.

What is IGRS

IGRS is an online medium for public hearing. Through this medium, there is no need for any person to make rounds to complain. The aggrieved person lodges a complaint online on its portal. The concerned department tries to get it resolved by getting it investigated. Accountability also remains on the complaint lodged through this medium. The complainant also gets information about every status of the complaint.

Every month there is a review at the government level

The disposal of complaints registered on this portal of public hearing is reviewed every month at the government level. Hussainganj police station has got the first rank in the state out of all the police stations of Lucknow in the review of whether the victim is satisfied or dissatisfied with the disposal of the complaints registered on IGRS.
