Lucknow: The 14th Midterm Interventional Meeting, hosted by the Uttar Pradesh Chapter of the Cardiological Society of India (CSI), brought together leading cardiologists in Lucknow. Led by Dr. Naveen Garg (SGPGI), Dr. Bhuvan Chandra Tiwari (RMLIMS), and Dr. Awadhesh Kumar Sharma (LPSIC, Kanpur), the event emphasized enhancing treatment results through discussions on cutting-edge interventional cardiology methods.
Over 60 presentations were made on topics like angioplasty and cutting-edge imaging technologies such as IVUS, OCT, and FFR. Experts like Dr. Aditya Kapoor and Dr. Rishi Sethi stressed the urgent need for more cardiologists in the state, with a key emphasis on improving infrastructure to accommodate growing patient needs.
