Spotlighting Hindi in the Digital Era: Vedant Wins Top Honors at KP Inter College Debate Contest

Prayagraj :  As part of the ongoing Hindi Saptah (Hindi Week) celebrations, KP Inter College hosted a spirited inter-school Hindi debate competition in its main auditorium. Centered around the theme "Opportunities and Challenges for Hindi in the Digital Age," the event brought together vocal young scholars from both urban schools and remote rural institutions across the district.

The ceremony commenced with traditional lamp lighting before a statue of Goddess Saraswati by chief guest S.D. Kautilya (General Secretary, Kayastha Pathshala), program president Dr. K.C. Srivastava (Vice President, Administration), and special guest Murli Manohar Sinha (Secretary, Managing Committee). Principal Dr. Yogendra Singh warmly welcomed the dignitaries, participating students, and the judging panel.

Addressing the audience, Chief Guest S.D. Kautilya remarked that the digital revolution has granted Hindi a global reach, opening dynamic new avenues for native content and global communication.

The competition was evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges comprising Dr. Anshuman Kushwaha (Assistant Professor, University of Allahabad) and Dr. Ranjit Singh (Assistant Professor, C.M.P. Degree College).

Key Winners & Accolades:

First Prize: Vedant (Bharat Scouts and Guides Inter College, Prayagraj) — Awarded ₹3,100 cash, trophy, and merit certificate.

Second Prize: Ayushi Mishra (Ishwar Sharan Girls Inter College, Prayagraj) — Awarded ₹2,100 cash, trophy, and merit certificate.

Third Prize: Ranchi Dwivedi (Sardar Patel Inter College, Sikro, Prayagraj) — Awarded ₹1,100 cash, trophy, and merit certificate.

Consolation Awards: Conferred upon Harsh Tripathi (Jwala Devi Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Civil Lines), Khushi Tripathi (KP Inter College), and Pranav Shukla (Jwala Devi Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College, Rasoolabad).

The program was jointly coordinated by sports spokesperson Umesh Kumar Khare and senior teacher Anand Prakash Srivastava, concluding with a formal vote of thanks delivered by Vice-Principal Dinesh Kumar Srivastava.
