Kia Disrupts Indian EV Market with Feature-Packed Syros EV Launching at INR 25,000 Booking Amount

Lucknow : Marking a major milestone in India’s shifting automotive landscape, Kia India has officially pulled the wraps off the Syros EV, its second mass-market electric SUV. Aimed at dismantling the traditional barriers to electric vehicle adoption, the vehicle blends a powerhouse performance with a highly aggressive ownership package. Pre-bookings for the SUV have officially commenced across India via Kia’s website and nationwide dealerships for a token amount of INR 25,000.

Setting New Benchmarks in Range and Power
Built on a reinforced K1 platform, the Syros EV proudly claims the crown for the first vehicle in its segment to breach the 500 km milestone. Equipped with a 51.4 kWh Extended Range NMC battery pack, it delivers an ARAI-certified, segment-best range of 526 km alongside a potent 171 PS power output, sprinting from 0 to 100 kmph in a swift 8.1 seconds. For urban-focused drivers, a 42 kWh battery variant is also available, offering a healthy 443 km range. When it comes to charging, the vehicle supports 100 kW DC fast charging, juicing up from 10% to 80% in just 39 minutes.

To eliminate consumer anxiety regarding EV longevity and upfront costs, Kia is rolling out an industry-first ecosystem package:

Inside the cabin, the Syros EV introduces a futuristic, first-in-segment 30-inch (76.20 cm) Wide Trinity Panoramic Display Panel that fuses the instrument cluster, navigation, and climate controls. The tech-suite is rounded off by a premium 8-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, Level 2 ADAS with 16 autonomous features, and 25 standard safety features including six airbags. Available in seven distinct trims and nine vibrant colors, the Syros EV is poised to redefine urban electric mobility for Indian families.
