President Tanda and other officials welcomed the Kanwariyas by garlanding them near Jharkhandi temple under Tehsil Tanda and showered flowers on them.

District Panchayat Chairman Shyam Sundar Verma, District Magistrate Avinash Singh, Superintendent of Police Dr. Kaustubh, BJP District President Triambak Tiwari, former MLA Sanju Devi, former BJP District President Kapil Dev Verma, Deputy District Magistrate Tanda Mohanlal Gupta, Block Development Officer, Business Board President Tanda and other officials welcomed the Kanwariyas by garlanding them near Jharkhandi temple under Tehsil Tanda and showered flowers on them.
It is the responsibility of the police administration to ensure smooth and safe completion of the Kanwar Yatra. The police administration is working with the cooperation of religious, business and social organizations to make the Kanwar Yatra simple and easy. Refreshments, medical services etc. are also being made available to the Kanwariyas.
Free food has been arranged for the Kanwariyas. Medical facilities are being provided to Kanwar pilgrims through health mobile vans. The concerned officials have been directed to take care of the Kanwariyas walking on the way. So that the Kanwariyas do not face any kind of problem.
