Ambedkar Nagar. The meeting of the Apprenticeship Training Scheme run by the Vocational Education and Skill Development Department was concluded today with district level members under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Avinash Singh.

Principal Government ITI Bhupendra Kumar Pal informed that the district has received the target of employing 2000 apprentices annually by the department. The director has ordered to employ 38 apprentices by classifying it on a weekly basis.

In this sequence, the employees of ITI have been able to employ only 85 apprentices till date in this financial year, which is much less than the target. In this scheme, the cooperation of the appropriate industry and Assistant Labor Commissioner is expected to achieve the target.

During the meeting, the District Magistrate directed the Deputy Commissioner of Industries and Assistant Labor Commissioner that if such Udyog Apprentice Scheme is implemented in the district, then it should be immediately registered on the NAPS portal as per the rules and ensure that the number of vacancies is displayed on the portal.

At the same time, the Principal ITI was instructed to achieve the target 100% by filling the vacancies. During the meeting, nominated member from Industry Ram Pyare Vishwakarma, Deputy Commissioner of Industries, Labor Commissioner, District Employment Officer and respected members were present.

In the end, the Principal, Government ITI expressed his gratitude and appealed to all the respected members to kindly cooperate in achieving the target set by the government.
