IFFCO CORDET Hosts Cooperative Training Program to Drive Nano Fertilizer Adoption
IFFCO CORDET Phulpur hosted a cooperative training program in Prayagraj to promote nano fertilizer adoption and sustainable farming practices
Prayagraj : IFFCO CORDET Phulpur successfully organized a one-day cooperative training program aimed at accelerating the adoption and widespread awareness of nano fertilizers among farmers. Senior officials from the Cooperative Department of the Prayagraj Division gathered to discuss the practical benefits, application methods, and future potential of nano-agricultural technologies.
Chief Guest Ashish Srivastava, Deputy Commissioner and Deputy Registrar of Cooperatives (Prayagraj Division), hailed nano fertilizers as a revolutionary breakthrough for Indian agriculture. Highlighting their role in boosting crop yield at reduced costs while safeguarding soil health and environmental balance, Srivastava shared positive feedback from local farmers. He emphasized the necessity of hosting regular training sessions for primary society secretaries and farmers to ensure seamless technology transfer at the grass-roots level.
Yatendra Kumar Tewatia, State Marketing Manager at IFFCO Lucknow, delivered a detailed technical presentation on Nano Urea and Nano DAP. He highlighted their superior efficiency over traditional granular fertilizers and urged cooperative officials to streamline availability and drive sales through primary agricultural cooperative societies (PACS). "Widespread adoption of nano fertilizers is a vital step toward building a self-reliant and sustainable farming ecosystem," Tewatia remarked.
During the interactive session, Regional Manager Dr. D.K. Singh addressed technical queries regarding dosage, application methods, and marketing dynamics. Dr. Vivek Dixit, Principal of CORDET Phulpur, showcased the center’s ongoing agricultural research and modern training infrastructure.
The event concluded with delegates visiting the advanced Nano Fertilizer Manufacturing Plant at IFFCO Phulpur. Officials observed the end-to-end production, quality control, and automated packaging processes, praising the facility's high technological standards.
