Bharat Buildcon 2026 Ignites Massive Trade Synergy on Day Two

New Delhi : The second day of Bharat Buildcon 2026—India's premier exhibition for the building materials and construction industry, themed 'One Nation, One Expo'—witnessed impressive industry participation at the Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, New Delhi. The event saw a significant turnout of domestic and international buyers, architects, developers, contractors, manufacturers, traders, policymakers, consultants, and industry associations.

The day featured extensive business interactions, buyer-seller meetings, product demonstrations, and knowledge-sharing sessions, providing Indian manufacturers with vital opportunities to expand their markets and strengthen global business ties.

Mr. Vishal Acharya, Director of Bharat Buildcon, said, "The overwhelming response over the first two days reflects global confidence in India's manufacturing sector. The presence of international buyers and trade delegations offers Indian companies a direct opportunity to boost exports."

Mr. Jitendra Kathiriya, Director of Bharat Buildcon, stated, "Such mega-events are not limited to mere exhibitions; they also stimulate economic activity across manufacturing, logistics, hospitality, transport, and service sectors. The thousands of business meetings taking place here could pave the way for significant commercial agreements in the future."

India's construction and building materials sector is emerging as one of the strongest pillars of the nation's economic growth. Currently, the construction sector contributes approximately 9 percent to India's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and provides employment to over 51 million (5.1 crore) people. According to industry estimates, India's construction market—valued at approximately US$ 685 billion in 2025—could exceed US$ 1.24 trillion by 2034.
