Yashobhoomi to Host Landmark Global Aerospace and Airport Infrastructure Summit in September 2026

Lucknow : India is set to solidify its position as an emerging powerhouse in defence, aviation, and aerospace manufacturing as it prepares to host the AEDEX + AIRPORT 2026 international exhibition and conference. The high-profile three-day business platform will take place from September 10–12, 2026, at the Yashobhoomi (India International Convention & Expo Centre - IICC) in Dwarka, New Delhi.

The mega-event aims to unite global policymakers, technology providers, defence manufacturers, airport developers, and international investors under a single roof. Designed to drive cross-sector collaboration, the platform will showcase cutting-edge advancements in military aviation, defence electronics, autonomous platforms, artificial intelligence, counter-drone systems, and airport infrastructure technologies.

Backed by key central government bodies—including the Ministries of Civil Aviation, Commerce & Industry, MSME, DRDO, CSIR, and DGCA—the event directly aligns with the national vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India) and Make in India. It also enjoys strong endorsement from leading industry entities such as the Aeronautical Society of India, the Drone Federation of India, and the Air Cargo Forum India.

India’s aerospace and defence market is currently on a steep upward trajectory, projected to reach USD 70 billion by 2030. Policy reforms, increased capital allocation, and landmark initiatives—such as the recent approval of the fifth-generation Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) program—have catalyzed extensive private sector participation and indigenous research. Simultaneously, India has grown into the world's third-largest domestic aviation market, driven by massive public and private investments that have more than doubled operational airports since 2014.

Key domestic participants at AEDEX + AIRPORT 2026 will include major organizations like Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), ISRO, CSIR-NAL, and Cochin International Airport. In addition, international delegations and country pavilions from over ten nations—including the United States, France, Germany, South Korea, Canada, Singapore, and the UAE—will join to explore trade opportunities and strategic partnerships.

From high-tech MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) solutions to advanced composites and cyber security, the event will offer a comprehensive glimpse into the future of global defense and aviation ecosystems.
