#NigerianPresident Bola Tinubu arrives in India for G20 summit

New Delhi. India assumed the presidency of the G20 on December 1 last year with the theme 'One Earth, One Family, One Future'.
The arrival of guests for the G20 summit has begun in New Delhi. First Nigerian President Bola Tinubu reached India. Official spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) Arindam Bagchi tweeted that Nigerian President Bola Tinubu is the first head of state to reach the national capital for the summit on September 9 10. His visit is Mr. Tinubu's first visit to India after assuming office in May 2023. Let us tell you that India's relations with African countries are strong, and his visit will further strengthen bilateral relations.
During the visit, Tinubu will participate in the Nigeria-India Presidential Roundtable and Nigeria-India Business Summit on the sidelines of the G20 Summit and deliver the keynote address. The President aims to leverage this platform to attract global capital and promote foreign direct investment into key labor-intensive sectors of the Nigerian economy for job creation and revenue expansion.
He will also use this opportunity to highlight the attractiveness of Nigeria as an investment destination.
The Nigerian leader is expected to share Nigeria's vision at the G20 summit on the theme “One Earth – One Family – One Future”, which calls for the global unity needed to address the challenges facing humanity and the planet.
