Apart from being the guest of honor, Ram Charan will be honored with the Ambassador of Indian Arts and Culture for his outstanding contribution to Indian cinema. With this, Ram Charan has become the first actor of Indian cinema to receive this honor.

Ram Charan's last film was RRR, which did a business of more than one thousand crore rupees at the worldwide box office. RRR's hit song Nattu-Natu also won an Oscar in the Best Original Song category at the Oscar ceremony.
