Sikh Light Infantry Training Centre Celebrates International Yoga Day

Fatehgarh : Under the powerful theme of "Unity in Health, Strength in Resolve," the Sikh Light Infantry Regimental Training Centre celebrated International Yoga Day with immense enthusiasm, vigor, and high spirits at the Raman Stadium today.

The mega event witnessed a grand gathering of 543 participants, reflecting a beautiful blend of defense forces and the local community. The attendees included 14 military officers, 67 Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs), 339 jawans of other ranks, 61 personnel from the Railway Police Force (RPF), along with 22 women and 40 children from military families.

During the intensive yoga session, participants performed a variety of traditional yoga postures (asanas) and breathing techniques with remarkable energy and precision. The event seamlessly mirrored the core values of the Indian Army—discipline, unity, brotherhood, and an unwavering commitment to a healthy lifestyle.

The active and enthusiastic participation of all ranks and their families created an atmosphere filled with camaraderie, positive energy, and collective harmony.
