North Central Railway RPF Pays Solemn Tribute to Fallen Personnel with Martyrs’ Parade in Prayagraj

Prayagraj: The Railway Protection Force (RPF) of North Central Railway organised a “Martyrs’ Parade” at the RPF Zonal Training Centre, Subedarganj, Prayagraj, to honour force members who laid down their lives while on duty during 2025-26. The ceremony was held in a dignified and emotional atmosphere, reflecting the gratitude of the entire force towards its fallen comrades.

Pradeep Kumar Gupta, Principal Chief Security Commissioner, North Central Railway, paid floral tributes to the martyred personnel on the occasion. Standing in respect before the memorial, he remembered their service and the sacrifices they made in the line of duty.

Among those present were Ashish Kumar, Chief Security Commissioner, North Central Railway, and Deepak Kumar Azad, Senior Divisional Security Commissioner, Prayagraj Division. Other officers from the headquarters, the division and the Zonal Training Centre, Subedarganj, also attended, along with a large number of RPF officers and jawans, who stood in disciplined formation during the parade.

As a mark of respect, a moment of silence was observed in memory of the departed. Those gathered bowed their heads in honour of the martyrs’ unmatched courage, devotion to duty and supreme sacrifice. The solemn silence was followed by a tribute to their bravery, which, officials said, continues to inspire every member of the force.

Speakers at the event noted that RPF personnel work round the clock to ensure the safety and security of railway passengers, property and operations, often facing difficult and risky situations. The sacrifices of those who lost their lives while discharging these responsibilities, they said, would always be remembered with pride and reverence.

The Martyrs’ Parade is held every year to keep alive the memory of such brave personnel and to renew the force’s commitment to duty, discipline and service to the nation. The programme concluded in an orderly manner, leaving all present with a renewed sense of dedication to the ideals for which the martyrs gave their lives.
