Deepak Kumar Sinha Takes Charge As New PCSTE Of North Central Railway
Senior IRSSE officer Deepak Kumar Sinha takes charge as the new Principal Chief Signal and Telecommunication Engineer of North Central Railway
Throughout his distinguished career, Sinha has served the North Central Railway zone in several high-profile capacities, including:
Chief Signal and Telecommunication Engineer (CSTE) for Construction, Planning, and Projects.
Senior Divisional Signal and Telecommunication Engineer (Senior DSTE) at Jhansi.
Deputy CSTE within the specialized Planning & Design and Construction wings.
Additionally, his technical acumen was loaned to the Central Organisation for Railway Electrification (CORE) in Prayagraj, where he served as Deputy CSTE for a five-year tenure between July 2012 and July 2017. In his foundational years, Sinha was instrumental in fortifying the critical communication and signaling networks in India’s Northeast region, holding vital field postings as Senior DSTE at Lumding, DSTE at Tinsukia, and managing core projects at Mariani and Guwahati.
Widely recognized within the railway fraternity for his sharp administrative acumen, technical precision, and proactive field execution, Sinha’s appointment comes at a crucial juncture. As the new PCSTE, his leadership is expected to accelerate the implementation of cutting-edge safety overhauls, advanced signaling technologies (such as Kavach), and comprehensive digital telecommunication modernizations across the entire NCR network.
