KECMA Hosts Grand Electrical Exhibition & Family Picnic in Kanpur
KECMA organized a mega electrical exhibition and family picnic at Lajpat Bhawan Lawn in Kanpur, bringing together top electrical brands, health drives, and family entertainment.
Kanpur : The Kanpur Electric Contractors and Merchants Welfare Association (KECMA) organized a grand electrical exhibition alongside a vibrant family picnic at the Lajpat Bhawan Lawns in Motijheel, Kanpur. The event served as a major convergence point for the region’s electrical trade community, bringing together leading national power generation and electrical appliance manufacturers to showcase their latest product lines and technological innovations.
The gathering opened with a formal welcome ceremony hosted by key office bearers of the association, including KECMA President Rajeev Mehrotra, General Secretary Mohit Arora, Chief Organizer Ramesh Gajnani, Chairman Praveen Anand, and Treasurer Shyam Kukreja. They extended a warm reception to visiting electrical merchants, representatives from various trade unions, political dignitaries, and esteemed guests.
Beyond the commercial trade show, the event was curated as an engaging family retreat featuring diverse social and community initiatives. A dedicated exhibition space showcased handcrafted items created by specially-abled children, drawing widespread support from attendees. Additionally, Modicare set up a public wellness station offering free health check-ups and Body Mass Index (BMI) screenings throughout the day.
For visiting families and children, the venue featured interactive amusement rides, custom selfie points, and a wide array of gourmet food stalls offering popular local delicacies. Concluding the successful event, President Rajeev Mehrotra and General Secretary Mohit Arora expressed their heartfelt gratitude to all participating companies, members, and visitors whose active involvement ensured the event’s success.
