LUCKNOW-Ahead of the 2027 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, the Congress has overhauled its state unit, appointing Rampur Khas MLA Aradhana Mishra 'Mona' as the new UP Congress chief. She replaces Ajay Rai, signalling a major organisational reshuffle in the party.
Imran Masood has been named working president, while Devendra Nishad and Alok Prasad are the new vice-presidents. The new team appears aimed at balancing experience with social and regional representation, energising cadres and strengthening the Congress's grassroots presence.
