North Central Railway Achieves Milestone with Automatic Signaling on Rasoolpur Gogomau-Lalpur Section
North Central Railway commissions advanced automatic signaling on the 18.40 km Rasoolpur Gogomau-Lalpur section to enhance train safety and speed.
The project was completed under the leadership of General Manager Naresh Pal Singh, with strategic execution by Principal Chief Signal and Telecommunications Engineer Satendra Kumar and Chief Engineer (Project-II) Bholendra Singh.
The Kanpur Project Unit, led by Mahendra Singh and Nivedita Tripathi, delivered several critical infrastructure upgrades:
23 New Automatic Signals: The block section has been subdivided to allow higher train density.
Precision Tracking: Installation of 121 Detection Points (DP) and 119 track sections ensures real-time, accurate train location monitoring.
4-Aspect Signaling: 11 signals were upgraded to the 4-Aspect system, providing loco pilots with clearer, earlier cues for better train control.
Interlocked Gates: Six level crossing gates (LC No. 224 to 216) have been integrated into the ABS system, ensuring synchronized safety for both rail and road traffic.
This initiative marks a pivotal step in Indian Railways’ mission to provide "Safe, Punctual, and Reliable" transportation for the nation.
