North Eastern Railway Development & Passenger Amenities Discussed in High-Level Delhi Meeting

Gonda : Pankaj Kumar Srivastava, member of the Zonal Railway Users' Consultative Committee (ZRUCC) for North Eastern Railway (NER), held a high-level meeting in Delhi with Satish Kumar, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Railway Board. During the meeting, Srivastava congratulated the Chairman on the extension of his tenure and engaged in detailed discussions regarding the infrastructural development of NER and the expansion of passenger amenities.

Representing the region from Gonda, the BJP leader commended the Railway Board Chairman for driving substantial modernization across Indian Railways during his leadership. Srivastava emphasized that under Satish Kumar's continued stewardship, the ongoing transformation of railway stations into modern, commuter-friendly hubs will gain further momentum across the nation.

Highlighting the collaborative effort between public representatives and railway authorities, Srivastava noted that ZRUCC members consistently provide feedback and ground-level cooperation through various channels to help upgrade railway services and regional connectivity.

Expressing appreciation for the leadership's vision, the ZRUCC member formally extended his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for extending the tenure of Railway Board Chairman Satish Kumar, expressing confidence that North Eastern Railway will see accelerated progress in passenger safety, station amenities, and overall regional growth.
