Ambedkar Nagar DM Isha Priya Launches Unique Raksha Bandhan Initiative: Officers Visit Primary Schools to Share Joy

Lucknow : Under the visionary leadership of District Magistrate Mrs. Isha Priya, the Ambedkar Nagar district administration launched a novel community-focused initiative on August 27, 2026, ahead of Raksha Bandhan. District-level officers, Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs), Tehsildars, and senior administration personnel visited various council-run primary schools across the region to interact directly with young students and join in their festive celebrations.

During their visits, officials engaged in warm, informal conversations with children to assess educational quality, review school facilities, and understand student needs. The administrative teams listened to the students' concerns with empathy and pledged swift action to resolve operational issues and fulfill immediate requirements at the school level.

The presence of senior administration created an atmosphere of pure joy and enthusiasm among the children. In a touching highlight of the initiative, students tied traditional rakhis onto the wrists of visiting officers, celebrating the protective spirit of Raksha Bandhan with immense warmth.
