Kanpur Gets Advanced Eye Care as Dr. Agarwal Eye Hospital Opens Its Doors in Tilak Nagar
Dr. Agarwal Eye Hospital opens in Tilak Nagar, Kanpur, offering advanced eye tests and treatment under one roof, with plans to accept CGHS, ECHS, insurance and Ayushman Bharat cards.
Kanpur: Residents of Kanpur now have a new destination for specialised eye care, with the launch of Dr. Agarwal Eye Hospital on Parvati Bungalow Road in Tilak Nagar. The hospital was formally opened at a ceremony attended by doctors, well-wishers and members of the hospital staff.
Renowned eye surgeon Dr. Sharad Bajpai was the chief guest. He inaugurated the facility by cutting the ribbon and wished the team success in their new venture.
Speaking to journalists on the occasion, Dr. Saurabh Mistry and Senior Consultant Dr. Deepali said the hospital will offer eye examination and treatment under one roof, using modern equipment and diagnostic machines. They explained that patients will not have to travel from place to place for different tests and procedures, as the aim is to provide care for a wide range of eye problems at a single location.
The doctors also shared the hospital's plans for patient convenience. In the future, the facility intends to extend treatment through cards and schemes such as private insurance, CGHS, ECHS and Ayushman Bharat. This is expected to make quality eye care more accessible to government employees, ex-servicemen and families covered under national health schemes.
Dr. Agarwal Eye Hospital is part of a large network with more than 300 branches across the country, where eye care and treatment services are provided. The Kanpur centre adds to this network and brings the group's experience and standards to the city.
Several senior doctors of Kanpur also attended the inauguration. They congratulated Dr. Saurabh Mistry and his entire team on the beginning of the new hospital and expressed hope that it would strengthen eye care services in the region.
Among those present were Prakash Vasudevan, Devesh Bhardwaj, Anu Batra, Vinesh Kushwaha and Karan Puneet, along with the complete hospital staff.
With modern technology, experienced specialists and plans to accept popular health cards, the new hospital is expected to become a trusted address for eye care in Kanpur. Doctors present at the event noted that easy access to quality ophthalmic services is important, as timely check-ups can help prevent vision loss and detect problems early.
