LPS Alumnus Dr. Ghanshyam Brings Laurels to Lucknow; Appointed as Gazetted Medical Officer

Lucknow : In a moment of immense pride for the state capital, Dr. Ghanshyam Sahai Srivastava, a brilliant alumnus of Lucknow Public School (LPS), Rajajipuram, officially assumed his duties as a Gazetted Medical Officer in Delhi yesterday.

Dr. Ghanshyam secured this prestigious position after successfully cracking the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Combined Medical Services (CMS) Examination in 2023. This achievement follows his academic excellence at Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (RMLIMS), where he completed his MBBS in 2022.

A Legacy of Dedication and Service
Dr. Ghanshyam comes from a family deeply rooted in education and healthcare. His father, Mr. Rajesh Srivastava, serves as a Biology teacher and Teacher Improvement Officer at LPS Rajajipuram, while his mother, Mrs. Renu Srivastava, is a dedicated homemaker.

Medical service runs in his veins, as his grandfather, Gurjeet Lal Srivastava, and uncle, Manish Kumar Srivastava, are both practicing doctors in the Balrampur district of Uttar Pradesh. His younger brother, Brijmohan Srivastava, is currently a Research Scholar in Geography at Allahabad University.

Attributing his success to the constant support of his parents and the foundation laid by his school, Dr. Ghanshyam expressed his gratitude during his joining ceremony.
