Machinery Worship and Ice Shivling Display Highlight Celebrations at IFFCO Phulpur
IFFCO Phulpur unit celebrated Vishwakarma Puja with traditional rituals, machinery worship, and a special Amarnath Ice Shivling display at its central workshop in Prayagraj.
Prayagraj : The Central Mechanical Workshop of the IFFCO Phulpur plant celebrated Sri Sri Vishwakarma Bhagwan Puja with full religious rituals and grandeur. Senior General Manager and Unit Head P.K. Singh, along with chief host Rakesh Kumar Rai, performed the ceremonial Ganpati and Vishwakarma worship, followed by a havan and aarti.
Recognized as the divine architect of the universe, Lord Vishwakarma’s festival symbolizes respect for labor, technical skill, craftsmanship, and industrial creation. Marking the occasion, machinery and equipment across all operational units—including the advanced Nano Fertilizer Plant—were ritually worshiped.
A major highlight of the celebration was a special display at the mechanical workshop depicting the sacred Amarnath Cave and the Baba Barfani ice Shivling, which drew significant attention from attendees.
The event saw widespread participation from executive leadership, union representatives, and staff members. Prominent officials present included General Managers P.K. Patel, Ratnesh Kumar, Dr. Anita Mishra, A.K. Gupta, and Arun Kumar, along with Head of Human Resources Shambhu Shekhar.
Representatives from key employee associations also attended, including IFFCO Officers Association President Anurag Tiwari and General Secretary Swayam Prakash, alongside IFFCO Employees Union President Pankaj Pandey and General Secretary Vijay Kumar Yadav. Joint General Managers S.K. Singh, R.P. Yadav, Sandeep Goyal, P.K. Tripathi, Vinay Vicky, Shailesh Sherkar, Sanjay Kumar, and Ashish Kumar were also present among other officers and workers.
The celebrations concluded with the distribution of prasad to all participating employees and guests.
