HDFC Bank Parivartan Empowers 9.6 Lakh Individuals Through Skill and Livelihood Drives

Lucknow : HDFC Bank's flagship CSR program, HDFC Bank Parivartan, announced it has empowered more than 9.6 lakh individuals since its inception. The milestone highlights the bank’s continued efforts to equip India's youth, women, and farmers with critical technical, digital, and entrepreneurial capabilities.  

By aligning with the global 2026 theme "Skills for a Shared Future," the initiative successfully blends formal certified vocational training with customized community-centric entrepreneurship programs.  A Two-Pronged Impact StrategyThe program splits its broad focus to target distinct demographics across rural and urban landscapes:Youth Skilling: Over 1.96 lakh youth have completed formal, industry-aligned certified programs in sectors like healthcare, IT, retail, logistics, and EV maintenance.  

Livelihood Support: Approximately 7.6 lakh women and farmers have accessed direct opportunities in micro-enterprise, food processing, dairy farming, and organic agriculture.  Key Takeaway: Beyond classroom training, beneficiaries receive extensive value-chain support, including mentoring, access to capital tools, branding assistance, and direct market-linkage support to establish resilient incomes.  Solid Outcomes: FY 2025–26 Performance MetricsAn independent impact assessment covering the bank's FY 2025–26 skilling projects showed robust performance markers:
