Prayagraj. In a commendable effort to promote student health and community welfare, the Rotary Club of Allahabad Midtown took a proactive step by donating an advanced Aquaguard water purifier to Lala Manmohan Das Inter College, located in Jhunsi, Prayagraj. The donation was officially made on Tuesday during a small ceremony attended by prominent club members and the school administration.

The initiative aims to provide students with access to clean and safe drinking water, an essential component for maintaining good health and supporting academic performance. With hundreds of students relying on the school’s water facilities daily, this contribution is expected to make a substantial impact on their well-being.

Club President Radha Saxena, Secretary Neeruj Chugh, and dedicated member Neeraj Mehrotra were present at the event. Speaking on the occasion, Radha Saxena emphasized the importance of health in a student’s life and how access to safe drinking water can directly influence their learning outcomes and overall development.

“Clean water is not a privilege; it’s a right. Through this initiative, we aim to ensure that no child in this institution has to compromise on basic health needs. A healthy child is a better learner, and we’re committed to supporting education with such meaningful contributions,” she said.

The school management expressed heartfelt gratitude toward the Rotary Club for their generous support. Teachers and staff noted that this new facility would not only benefit current students but also leave a lasting mark on the institution's infrastructure.

Rotary Club of Allahabad Midtown has long been recognized for its consistent involvement in social development activities across the city. From health camps and educational aid to environmental awareness and infrastructure improvement, the club continues to serve as a beacon of positive change.

Secretary Neeruj Chugh shared, “Our mission has always been to uplift communities and empower individuals through sustainable and impactful actions. This water purifier installation aligns perfectly with our ongoing efforts.”

Member Neeraj Mehrotra also reiterated the club’s dedication to community engagement and invited more individuals and organizations to join in such noble causes.

The event concluded with a round of applause and optimism as students took their first sips of clean water from the newly installed purifier. It served as a reminder that even small gestures can lead to significant improvements in the lives of many.

Through such thoughtful initiatives, the Rotary Club reinforces its role not just as a service organization, but as a key contributor to the region’s growth and humanitarian progress.
