Mahakumbh 2025: WAAYU to Deliver Over 1.5 Crore Mahaprasad Nationwide

Prayagraj: During the sacred Mahakumbh 2025, WAAYU, India’s first zero-commission food delivery app, is set to take a historic step by delivering over 1.5 crore Mahaprasad orders across the country. The initiative is in collaboration with ONDC (Open Network for Digital Commerce) to ensure that Mahaprasad from holy cities reaches devotees nationwide within seven days.

The Mahakumbh, scheduled between January 13 and February 26, 2025, aims to draw 45-50 crore pilgrims. WAAYU’s delivery service will make Mahaprasad from Prayagraj, Ayodhya, and Varanasi accessible to devotees in every corner of the country.

Special Service for Rail Passengers : WAAYU has also launched a unique service for rail passengers. Travelers passing through Prayagraj Railway Station will be able to enjoy Mahaprasad during their journey. Currently, Mahaprasad from Prayagraj and Ayodhya is available on WAAYU and ONDC buyer apps, with Varanasi’s Mahaprasad set to join the list soon.

A Blend of Tradition and Technology : Aniruddha Kotgire, Managing Director of WAAYU, expressed his pride in this initiative, stating:

Pure Desi Ghee Besan Laddoos as the Main Attraction : The Mahaprasad for Mahakumbh 2025 will primarily consist of Besan Laddoos made from pure desi ghee. These will be prepared following traditional methods and strict hygiene standards. Additionally, the Prasad will be delivered in eco-friendly, plastic-free packaging, ensuring sustainability.

Strong Logistics Network by WAAYU : WAAYU has partnered with leading logistics companies such as Blue Dart, Amazon Shipping, Shiprocket, Delhivery, and India Post to ensure a seamless delivery experience. The company is set to cover over 19,000 pin codes across India, making Mahaprasad accessible to devotees far and wide.
