Lucknow : The Uttar Pradesh team, selected to participate in the National Swat Championship 2024, left for Kolkata on Thursday morning. The competition will take place from December 27-29, 2024. The team, led by coach Dhanesh Dikshit, consists of eight players, including two representatives from the Uttar Pradesh Police.
The selected players from Lucknow are Yash Kumar Yadav, Raghvendra Yadav, Vikas Kumar Singh, Sarvesh Yadav, Ansh Yadav, Vishal Singh, Shailesh Kumar, and Komal Singh. The team is expected to perform exceptionally well, with hopes of securing the highest number of medals and achieving first place.
K.V. Pant, the Secretary of the Uttar Pradesh Swat Association, expressed confidence in the team's success, while Association President Manoj Dikshit, Vice President Ashok Tripathi, and Treasurer Kamal Joshi wished the players the best of luck for the upcoming championship.
