Lucknow: SuryaCon Lucknow 2025, a premier solar energy conference hosted by EQ International, concluded on a high note with robust participation from solar companies, policy experts, and industry stakeholders. Held in the capital city of Uttar Pradesh, the event focused on promoting solar energy adoption, sustainability, and the broader vision of decarbonization in India’s growing energy landscape.

The event was graced by Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Avnish Kumar Singh, who attended as the Chief Guest. He praised the commendable work of solar entrepreneurs and stakeholders, emphasizing that solar power is poised to play a transformative role in Uttar Pradesh’s development. Singh also felicitated notable players in the solar industry, recognizing their efforts in expanding access to clean and renewable energy.

EQ International, a leading name in the solar media industry, organized this landmark conference to create a collaborative platform for buyers, sellers, innovators, and government representatives. Speaking at the event, Anand Gupta, CEO of EQ International, said,
"SuryaCon is not just a conference—it’s a platform for synergy. We aim to bridge the gap between demand and supply by connecting key players under one roof."

The event featured high-impact sessions with a strong focus on:

Utility-scale solar energy projects

Sustainable development and energy efficiency

Policy framework and government schemes like the UP KUSUM Yojana

Strategies for rural solar penetration and tier-2 city adoption

One of the key highlights was the Solar Buyer-Seller Meet, where companies exchanged ideas and explored partnerships to meet the increasing demand for solar solutions across the state. These discussions revolved around procurement challenges, technology adoption, and infrastructure readiness in semi-urban and rural areas.

The Annual Solar, Renewable Energy, and Sustainability Awards were also a major attraction. Solar companies working across various capacities in Uttar Pradesh were honored for their innovation, outreach, and contribution to the green energy revolution.

Several renowned solar firms including Sahas Solar, Sova Solar, Sungrow, Enicon Solar, and GoodWe Solar participated and shared insights on advancing solar infrastructure in India. They stressed the importance of aligning industry innovation with grassroots implementation to ensure widespread access and affordability.

SuryaCon Lucknow 2025 also saw an impressive mix of participants representing the entire solar ecosystem—developers, Independent Power Producers (IPPs), EPC contractors, policy-makers, regulators, procurement heads, PV designers, asset management specialists, HR leaders, financial advisors, and DISCOMs.

Panel discussions explored real-world applications of solar technology, financing mechanisms, and human resource development in the clean energy sector. Experts delved into the integration of solar energy with local energy needs and the importance of training skilled manpower to drive India’s solar ambitions forward.

As India steers toward its ambitious clean energy goals, platforms like SuryaCon are not just celebratory events—they are catalysts of change, building connections that fuel future innovation.

With a successful edition concluded in Lucknow, EQ International has once again reaffirmed its commitment to building a solar-powered, sustainable India.
