Indian Stock Markets Witness Sharp Decline Amid Foreign Fund Outflows
The Indian stock markets witnessed a significant decline in early trade on Monday, with the BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty plummeting due to foreign fund outflows and slowing corporate earnings growth.

The BSE Sensex, which is considered the benchmark index of the Indian stock market, traded 476.70 points lower at 75,470.18. Similarly, the NSE Nifty quoted 146.80 points down at 22,782.45.
The decline in the Indian stock markets can be attributed to the foreign fund outflows, which have been a major concern for the market in recent times. Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have been net sellers in the Indian stock market, pulling out funds in search of better returns in other emerging markets.
Another major factor contributing to the decline in the Indian stock markets is the slowing corporate earnings growth. Many Indian companies have reported disappointing earnings in recent times, which has led to a decline in investor sentiment.
The decline in the Indian stock markets is likely to continue in the near term, unless there is a significant improvement in foreign fund inflows and corporate earnings growth.
