"My whole life changed after that scenario. I lost out on work, people started isolating me, and I had to endure the media trial before anything was proven in court. Even close friends from the industry, who knew I was innocent, didn’t come forward to support me. I was completely sidelined, and projects were taken away from me due to my controversial image. I lost crores of money during that time, and those were the toughest days of my life."

Despite the hardships, Rahul credits his good karma for helping him secure anticipatory bail and avoiding jail time. He added that the chargesheet cleared his name, revealing that Pratyusha’s final conversation was about her father, not him.

Quitting Alcohol and Embracing a New Life
Rahul shared how the experience motivated him to make positive changes in his life. He quit alcohol entirely and focused on building a disciplined lifestyle for the sake of his daughter, Shivanya, who will soon turn two.

"I left alcohol completely this year. I wanted to be a better role model for my daughter. Connecting with nature and animals helped me find peace and love that I had lost. The incident changed me completely for the better, and now, I’m looking forward to coming back stronger and harder in my career."
