Amethi's Jawahar Navodaya Becomes India's First ISO-Certified Navodaya School
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Amethi becomes India’s first ISO 9001:2015 certified Navodaya school for quality management.
Amethi: In a moment of pride for the education sector, the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) located in Gauriganj, Amethi, has earned the distinction of becoming the first ISO-certified Navodaya school in India. This recognition under ISO 9001:2015 standards marks a significant milestone in quality management within the Navodaya education system.
The prestigious certificate was presented by Ramesh Chandra Rai, Lead Auditor, and Ramdhan, Senior Consultant from the ISO certification body, during a formal ceremony held at the school. The chief guest for the event was school alumnus and CEO of Satya MicroCapital Ltd., Mr. Vivek Tiwari, who handed over the certification to Principal Pradeep Kumar Singh and Vice Principal Nityanandesh Narayan Tripathi.
Speaking at the event, Vivek Tiwari expressed heartfelt pride:
“It is truly an honor to witness this accomplishment of the very institution that shaped my life. This achievement is a moment of joy and inspiration for all of us.”
Principal Pradeep Kumar Singh acknowledged the collective efforts that led to this honor, stating:
“This is a proud moment not only for the school but also for the entire district. The recognition is a result of the dedication and hard work of our students, teachers, support staff, and the entire school community.”
The ISO 9001:2015 certification is awarded for excellence in quality management systems, emphasizing process-driven efficiency, continual improvement, and strong leadership in institutional functioning.
The event saw the presence of various esteemed faculty members, including V.C. Srivastava, Dr. Dayaram Yadav, N.K. Mishra, Dr. Manasingh Patel, Sandeep Kumar Gupta, Nidhi Tiwari, and Rekha, who joined in celebrating this historic achievement.
This certification positions Amethi’s JNV as a trailblazer in academic and administrative excellence among PM SHRI schools, reinforcing the commitment to deliver education that meets global standards of quality.
