Mahakumbh 2025 - Country Will Remain Undivided Only Through Unity: CM Yogi Adityanath
CM Yogi highlighted the message of unity and integrity at Mahakumbh, as foreign devotees also come to understand Sanatan culture.
Prayagraj: On Sunday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reviewed the preparations for the ongoing Mahakumbh in Prayagraj and made significant statements during his interaction with the media. He emphasized that Mahakumbh carries a singular message - "The country will remain undivided only through unity."
CM Yogi mentioned that a large number of devotees from both India and abroad are arriving for the Mahakumbh. He shared an example of foreign visitors, stating that tourists from Europe were seen singing Sanskrit hymns and participating in Hindu rituals, demonstrating that Mahakumbh has become more than just a religious event; it is an opportunity for global participation in Indian culture and traditions.
He also informed that the two major holy baths at Mahakumbh, on Mouni Amavasya (January 29) and Basant Panchami (February 3), will be organized with elaborate arrangements. Currently, more than one crore devotees are present in the Mahakumbh area. CM Yogi assured that both the central and state governments are working together to ensure the comfort and safety of the devotees.
The Chief Minister expressed confidence that both the holy baths will be successfully conducted, and programs involving the Prime Minister, President, Vice President, and Home Minister are also planned. He praised the devotion of saints and devotees, stating that the Mahakumbh is a precious heritage of Indian culture.
