21-Member International Delegation from 10 Countries to Take a Holy Dip at Triveni Sangam
A 21-member international delegation from 10 countries will take a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam during Mahakumbh 2025.
Prayagraj: On the occasion of Mahakumbh 2025, a 21-member international delegation from 10 countries, organized by the External Publicity and Public Diplomacy Division of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, will arrive in Prayagraj today, January 15 at 2:40 PM at the Prayagraj Airport.
The delegation will be staying at the Tent City in Arail, built by the Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation.
This evening, the delegation will tour the Mahakumbh Mela area. Following that, a Heritage Walk will be organized from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, allowing the members to experience Prayagraj’s rich cultural and historical heritage.
On January 16 at 8:00 AM, the delegation will take a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam. After the dip, breakfast will be served to the members. At 9:30 AM, the delegation will be taken on an aerial tour of the Mahakumbh area via helicopter.
The tour will conclude at 1:30 PM, after which the delegation will head to the airport for departure.
The international delegation includes representatives from Fiji, Finland, Guyana, Malaysia, Mauritius, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Trinidad and Tobago, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
This event is a significant initiative to showcase India’s culture and spirituality on a global platform.
