Indian Bank and Shvetdhara Dairy have signed an MoU to provide up to ₹2 lakh agriculture loans to farmers without collateral.

Lucknow: Indian Bank and Shvetdhara Dairy signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today in Ayodhya. Under this agreement, Indian Bank will provide agriculture loans (Kisan Credit Cards) up to ₹2 lakh to farmers selling milk to Shvetdhara Dairy through digital platforms, without any collateral.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Indian Bank’s Lucknow Circle Manager, Mr. Pranesh Kumar, and Shvetdhara Ayodhya’s CEO, Mr. Rohit Kumar, along with Indian Bank’s Chief General Manager, Lucknow, Mr. Sudhir Kumar Gupta. Also present at the event were Indian Bank’s Gonda Circle Manager Mr. Hemant Mishra, Baharich Circle’s Chief Manager Mr. Ateesh Srivastava, and officials from Shvetdhara Ayodhya Mandal.

This new partnership will provide several benefits to farmers, such as enabling them to receive loans digitally without the need to visit a bank branch. Moreover, farmers will not have to pledge any property as collateral. With these loans, farmers will be able to improve their animal care and increase milk production. The loan will help farmers strengthen their financial position.

Indian Bank’s Chief General Manager, Lucknow, Mr. Sudhir Kumar Gupta stated, “Uttar Pradesh is rapidly developing, and we want to contribute to this growth. Through this MoU, we will empower farmers financially.”

Shvetdhara’s CEO, Mr. Rohit Kumar, said, “We are committed to the welfare of farmers. This agreement will provide significant financial benefits to our farmers, enabling them to increase milk production.”

Indian Bank’s Circle Manager, Lucknow, Mr. Pranesh Kumar informed that Indian Bank has 1,081 branches, 536 ATMs, and 4,343 BC locations across Uttar Pradesh. The bank is continuously developing digital products to offer better services to customers.

Indian Bank’s Chief General Manager, Lucknow, Mr. Sudhir Kumar Gupta wished everyone success in this MoU and urged farmers to take advantage of this scheme.
