Maha Kumbh Nagar: Maha Kumbh 2025 witnessed a moment of deep faith and tradition as Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, along with his family, took a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam. Seeking the divine blessings of Maa Ganga, Maa Yamuna, and Maa Saraswati, he emphasized the significance of Maha Kumbh as a symbol of unity and cultural heritage.
Speaking on the occasion, Gadkari remarked, "Maha Kumbh is not just a religious gathering but a living embodiment of the 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat' vision, where people from all over the country come together in faith and tradition."
Upon his arrival in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh's Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi extended a grand welcome to Gadkari, presenting him with the sacred Kumbh Kalash. After taking the dip, Gadkari paid homage to Sanatan traditions, stating that Maha Kumbh represents the spiritual strength and cultural unity of India.
He praised the Uttar Pradesh government for its meticulous planning and management, ensuring seamless arrangements for devotees. "The administration has worked tirelessly to provide facilities for pilgrims traveling by road. The smooth execution of such a massive event is commendable," he said.
Calling Maha Kumbh an unparalleled spiritual and cultural experience, Gadkari concluded with prayers for the well-being of all, hoping the festival brings blessings, peace, and prosperity to the nation.
