Lucknow: A blend of spirituality, science, and education was on full display at SKD Academy and Shri Krishna Dutt Academy Degree College as both institutions jointly celebrated Mahavir Jayanti and World Homeopathy Day with enthusiasm and reverence.
The celebration, orchestrated under the visionary guidance of Mr. Manish Singh, Director of SKD Group of Education, highlighted the group’s commitment to value-based and holistic education. Also present were Ms. Nisha Singh, Deputy Director, and Ms. Kusum Batra, Assistant Academic Director, who have played pivotal roles in nurturing a vibrant academic ecosystem through their constant support and leadership.
At SKD Academy, the celebrations began with a tribute to Lord Mahavir, centering around his timeless teachings of non-violence, truth, and compassion. Simultaneously, Shri Krishna Dutt Academy Degree College marked World Homeopathy Day to honor Dr. Samuel Hahnemann, the father of homeopathy. The event served as a platform to recognize the evolving significance of homeopathic medicine in today’s healthcare landscape.
Renowned homeopathy practitioners were invited to interact with students. They emphasized the importance of homeopathy as a complementary healing system and discussed its growing relevance in modern medicine. A special awareness session on alternative medical practices was also held, aiming to foster scientific curiosity and holistic health consciousness among the students.
