Canara Bank Officers’ Sports Meet Successfully Concludes in Lucknow
Canara Bank Officers' Association held a two-day sports competition in Lucknow with various events and outstanding performances.

Lucknow. A two-day sports competition, organized under the aegis of the Canara Bank Officers' Association (CBOA), was held at Goyal Institute Ground in Lucknow on January 11 and 12. Several sports events were conducted during the competition, where participants showcased remarkable performances.
The competition was inaugurated by Canara Bank’s Lucknow Circle General Manager Ranjeev Kumar, along with Deputy General Managers Sanjay Kumar and Pradeep Kumar R, and Ayodhya Regional Office's Deputy General Manager Vikas Bharti.
In the cricket tournament, the Lucknow One team emerged as the winner, while Lucknow Two secured the runner-up position. Nikhil was awarded the "Man of the Match," Pradeep was named the "Man of the Series," while the "Best Batsman" award went to Manish Rai, and Akhilesh bagged the "Best Bowler" title.
In the men's doubles badminton event, Manish Rai and Akhilesh claimed victory, while Rajendra Gautam and Pradeep were the runners-up. In the women's category, Monica and Megha won the title, with Sarakshi and Kiran finishing as runners-up.
In the 100-meter race, Kiran secured the first prize in the women’s category, followed by Kirti in second place and Sarakshi in third. In the men’s category, Manish Rai bagged the first prize, Amar secured second, and Aqib came third.
In the table tennis competition, Deepak Joshi won the men’s category, with Vikram as the runner-up. In the women’s category, Megha emerged as the winner, and Monica finished as the runner-up.
Megha claimed first place in the women's skipping competition, with Kirti and Kiran finishing second and third, respectively. In the men’s category, Devesh secured first place, followed by Manish in second and Lalji in third.
The women’s tug-of-war event saw Neha, Kiran, Neha Tiwari, and Megha claiming the top prize.
The event was successfully conducted under the leadership of CBOA General Secretary Ravi Kumar and Senior Vice President Dhananjay Singh. Other prominent attendees included OGS Anshuman Singh, DGS Vivek Srivastava, Regional Secretaries Santosh Kumar (Lucknow One) and Vivek Sonkar (Lucknow Two), Assistant Regional Secretaries Manish Rai, Mohammad Imran, and Shishir Srivastava, along with District Secretary Pushpendra Singh and RC Member Akhilesh.
