Ambedkar Nagar's Aspirational Blocks Get Development Boost
DM reviews progress, directs officials for effective implementation of schemes in aspirational blocks.

Ambedkar Nagar: District Magistrate Avinash Singh chaired a review meeting to assess the progress of various development schemes in the three aspirational blocks of the district - Tanda, Bhiti, and Bhianv. The DM emphasized the need for comprehensive development in key areas such as health, nutrition, water resources, education, skill development, financial inclusion, agriculture, and infrastructure.
Singh directed officials to work in line with the government's priorities and ensure timely completion of projects. He stressed that any negligence in the development of aspirational blocks would not be tolerated. The DM also called for bridging the gap between data provided by the Aspirational Block Portal and UNICEF.
The DM instructed the Panchayati Raj department to prioritize the construction of toilets in ODF Plus villages and ensure that all villages are free from open defecation. He also directed the health department to conduct regular check-ups of pregnant women and ensure effective implementation of vaccination programs. The ICDS department was instructed to ensure regular distribution of nutritious food supplements.
Singh also directed officials to conduct regular field visits to monitor the implementation of schemes and interact with beneficiaries. He emphasized the importance of gathering feedback from the community and addressing their concerns. The DM also called for greater coordination among various departments to ensure holistic development of the aspirational blocks.
The meeting was attended by Chief Development Officer Anand Kumar Shukla, Additional Chief Medical Officer, Deputy Director of Agriculture, District Basic Education Officer, District अर्थ एवं संख्या अधिकारी, डीपीआरओ, एम ओ आई सी, Block Development Officers, and other concerned officials.
