Mathura. Kosikala and Govardhan railway stations have been included in Bharat Amrit Yojana. Both the railway stations will be renovated spending crores of rupees. Apart from this, there will be a railway station at Barsana, which will facilitate the pilgrims to reach here.
During a press conference at Mathura Junction on Friday, ADRM Virendra Singh said that the Ministry of Railways is redeveloping railway stations under Amrut Bharat Yojana to further improve passenger facilities. A total of 1309 railway stations across the country are included under the Amrit Bharat Yojana, out of which the foundation stone of 508 railway stations is to be laid on August 6. Four stations of Agra Division Govardhan, Kosikala, Achnera, and Khedli have also been included in this scheme.

Bhuteshwar railway station is also included in this plan which is to be worked on. A total of Rs 92.79 crore is to be spent on the redevelopment of the four stations in Agra Mandal. The program will be organized on Monday at a total of 55 stations of UP. At present 5407 projects worth 166000 crores are being implemented in Uttar Pradesh.

Uttar Pradesh has received a record allocation of Rs 17,507 crore in this year's budget. The Mathura Vrindavan meter gauge is being changed to a broad gauge. whose work is in progress? The cost of which is Rs 403 crore and this work is likely to be completed by March 2025. Barsana is being developed as a new station on the Mathura Alwar section.
